Is there a difference between "Test Team" and "QA Team"?

I'm not very knowledgeable about testing.

I've sometimes heard people talking ... the Quality Assurance team ...

As far as I know, QA is an environment, not a team. That's why I did not understand.

The questions are:

  • Is it okay to speak QA team ?

    • Is there any difference between Test Team and QA Team ?

  • If there are differences, what are they?

Quality Analyst is a professional in the area of SQA, already the Test Analyst is a professional in the area of Software Testing.

QAI makes this differentiation, so much so that there is a Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) for SQA Professionals and the Certified Software Tester (CSTE) for Software Test Professionals.

In short, the activities of a Quality Analyst are different from that of the Test Analyst, so they are different jobs, although overlapping roles are common in many companies.
