I would like to know if GeneXus X Ev.2 or above already allows you to compile the programs generated in Java with JDK 1.8.
Do I have to do something different?

It works without problems with JDK 1.8. Just change the generator properties to point to JDK 1.8 instead of 1.7 or 1.6.
