Where do I get the Android source code?

2

I am writing a documentation, in which I need to know the source code for an application to check the whole mobile device, behind settings that the user did not perform, for example:

  • if you have set a password on the home screen;
  • encrypted the memory card;
  • applications that consume lots of energy;
  • malicious applications that request to activate GPS without using;
  • leave Bluetooth enabled without a password;
  • use an antivirus;
  • perform mobile device anchoring without password and;
  • warn the user of malicious applications.

Where do I find these codes?

The sources of the operating system is where most of the open source today stands, in the GitHub a>. Of course there are other mirrors but this is the most practical. A alternative . Other .

Having the sources of Android will be of little use to the one indicated in the question. Getting documentation will be much more interesting.

If the intent is to pick up the fonts of the installed applications. It is not possible in general. Most will be closed source and the rest will have to go back case by case. That is, it is unfeasible.

Even if you have all the sources, it will not be useful to do the checks that are quoted automatically. And manually does not make much sense, nothing guarantees reliability and is certain to be short-lived.

Security is not obtained through sources. Many less can do it over third-party applications unless you're willing to do a lot of work, have a lot of knowledge and choose a few applications.
