Where do I get the official bank account validation rules and check digit?
After a lot of Google search, I can only find rules ten years ago and in forums, with no source reference. I learned that Itaú has undergone changes in its rules and I imagine that Bradesco will change at some point with the acquisition of HSBC.
I think official information will only get you in touch with the bank's IT staff or someone who has access to it (someone who has worked with banks). Even if you can and can post here, help the next one.
There is also the site [www.4devs.com.br/validador_conta_bancaria][1], which validates the account number, so surely they have the validation algorithm (which varies in each bank, as far as I know).
