I'm trying to install JWTAuth in my project. I updated my composer.json as per the documentation:

composer.json:

"tymon/jwt-auth": "0.5.*"
}

I ran the composer update command and had the following error:

Problem 1

I've been researching the internet and found that it may be something related to macOSx. My OpenSSL version php -i | grep OpenSSL :

I was able to solve the problem using composer require tymon/jwt-auth:1.0.0-alpha.3

This error refers to dependencies of this library that you do not have, try editing your composer.json as follows:

    "phpseclib/phpseclib": "*",
    "namshi/jose": "*",
    "tymon/jwt-auth": "0.5.*"
}
