I used the toolbar and applied the bold to the fields, which visually changed, as can be perceived in the image, but in the pdf generated the formatting is not displayed. I'm using version 4.0.1 of Ireport.

Thanks for posting the field properties image, I was wondering if there could have been some special font that was not being processed correctly.

In the properties the SansSerif font is already selected, so I can not see if it was "above the line" or "below the line" when you click the arrow to select another font. If it was below the line, this means that it would not be available to you (it would be present on your system but not available for iReport).

Take a look at this (and link ) and see if that is not your case.

Look, you can try changing the "Pdf Font name is now" field of "Helvetica" for "Helvetica-Bold".

Good afternoon, you should select the corresponding font for the PDF by the attribute "PDF Font ..." which although displayed as depreciated keeps working and I also usually check the "Pdf Embedded" option.

I'm using version 6.1.1 and it's still the same thing.
