Why is uploading images to my DigitalOcean server so slow? [closed]

3

I'm running a Java application using Play! Framework on my droplet on DigitalOcean. However, when I upload images through the browser I realize that the request is very slow and the upload of a ~ 2MB image is taking ~ 1-2 minutes to happen.

Does anyone know why this problem happens?

Speak there. Dude, in the community DO have some guys recommend running the ifconfig eth0 txqueuelen 10000 command to force the upload rate increase for each droplet you have However, there is not much information as to which settings the environment in which this command was performed. If you have how to test a blz test droplet.

Before, it may be interesting to test the upload rate of your internet provider, as it may occur that DO servers are accepting more than your upload can send.

Test on link , or on this same page, choose the region where your droplet is, and redo the down tests and up from your internet provider.

In the last case, open a ticket with them, the staff in the times I requested, always very professional, and even with my English without shame, I was well attended.

PS: Maybe your droplet was with a network interface other than eth0 , if it does, switch the interface to test the first paragraph command. p>
