Uploading android images to folder on Server

3

How can I upload an android image to a folder on the server? I have the address of the folder that I can use to save image, I am already using this address to be able to take the images, but now I need to save images to that folder of the server.

NOTE: My web service is done in JAVA

To send any information to the web you need to make a request. I'm assuming you already have a webserver ... there is a very simple and easy to use lib, called refrofit. It makes Rest calls. ( link )
Page Ex

@Multipart @PUT ("/ user / photo") User updateUser (@Part ("photo") TypedFile photo, @Part ("description") TypedString description);

Do not forget to put the method that uploads out of the UI thread.

The PHP code

    $file_path = "uploads/";

    $file_path = $file_path . basename( $_FILES['uploaded_file']['name']);
    if(move_uploaded_file($_FILES['uploaded_file']['tmp_name'], $file_path)) {
        echo "success";
    } else{
        echo "fail";
    }
     ?>

Instead of sending the image with $ _FILE (input file) it is possible to send using POST. So you need to transform the image into a string and cast it on a variable. On the PHP side the treatment would be different ("decode" and then create the document and save)
