What is a Kiddie Script?

11

I saw this term in a movie, Who Am I , and basically what I understood is an attribution to the famous ctrl c + ctrl v .

To better specify, what actions make a person be considered a script kiddie ? Is script kiddie hated by programmers? And in general, what is a script kiddie ?

Script kiddie is the term used for people who use scripts, source code, exploits or other types of artifacts without having the slightest notion of how they work, their use is on the basis of error / hit, usually with the purpose of invading or causing damage to networks / systems.

@rray has already given you the exact definition of the term, but it is worth remembering that in my time (speaking like this I am finding myself an old man), before there is windows 3.11 and windows 95 , people with a low level of knowledge and who used programs and scripts without knowing how their algorithms work were known as Lammers , therefore both are synonyms, you may eventually hear both terms.

Script Kiddie is the name given in a derogatory way to inexperienced crackers who are looking for easy targets to apply their little technical knowledge. They have no programming knowledge and are aiming to gain fame and personal gain from their attacks.

And in fact, they are "hated" by most hackers.
