How does an e-CPF work?

4

I do not have a Card or Token, but I would like to know how it works, as I should use it in the future to generate Certified / Digitally Signed Medical Records.

I have some questions:

- Does it contain a set of public and private keys or should I generate them from the Certificate?   -Is it recognized as a locked storage device?
-Does the system install the certificate automatically?   - Can I use your Certificate / Private Key / Public Key with OpenSSL?

Thanks in advance!

The e-CPF is more or less the same thing as the NF-e.

- Does it contain a set of public and private keys or should I generate them from the Certificate?

He comes to himself. In the A3 certificate, the keys are inside the USB device, being accessed through the Windows Certification Store.

-Is it recognized as a locked storage device?

It depends on the manufacturer and the type of device (token, smartcard).

-Does the system install the certificate automatically?

No. It depends on the certificate and OS. On Windows, A3 is installed automatically. The A3 depends on the manufacturer and the language used in the development of your application. A1 depends on manual installation.

- Can I use your Certificate / Private Key / Public Key with OpenSSL?

Yes.
