Is it possible to install Android without the manufacturer's edition? [closed]

Hello, If in a hypothetical situation, I have how to change the boot of my cell phone, can I install Android raw? Like, I know manufacturers change it before installing, but without this issue does it work? Because I know that the communication between hardware and software is the linux kernel. And following this is logical, I can also install ubuntu for mobile phones, after all it also uses the linux kernel

Yes.

These versions are usually called Android AOSP. There are already compiled and ready-to-install versions of AOSP for various device models.

As for Ubuntu, in theory it should work but I do not have the experience to comment on it.
