I made a DBF in Protheus and I'm having trouble opening the file in Visual FoxPro because it does not recognize the file by returning the message:
Dbf file is not a table.
Has anyone ever gone through this or do you know which version of DBF does Protheus and Visual FoxPro work with?

How did you generate it in Protheus?
The DBF that it generates normally opens in Excel for example.
The file you generated is corrupted, or Visual FoxPro is without the correct drivers.
Remember that if DBF has Memo fields, you need to copy the FPT together with DBF.
When you created your DBF in Protheus, you should have created another file with .vfp extension that should be in VisualFoxPro together, see discussion:
