When using the Xamarin Studio 4.x / 5.x Interface Designer tool on the Windows 8 / 8.1 platform I can not add components to the screen, when trying to drag and drop a toolbar component to the interface, the same is not applied (stays on the screen).
How do I solve this problem?
Solution found:
I have detected two possible issues that directly affect the tool:
1st - Version of the outdated video driver. After updating the video driver some users were able to use the tool correctly.
2nd - Interference of third-party software, especially anti-virus and screen sharing systems. Disabling them works correctly.
