Read ITF Brazilian bar code (size 44) with the phonegap BarcodeScanner plugin for IOS

Has anyone managed to solve the Barcode Scanner's ITF barcode reading problem (size 44)?

The plugin deployed for Android works perfectly for both large and small ITF barcodes. However the plugin made for IOS reads only small size ITF codes.
