Problem with JFormattedTextField when the component goes out of focus it returns the last valid number

I have a problem concerning JFormattedTextField when I add the mask and I type a valid number then delete and do not write anything in the field .. but when the component goes out of focus it returns the last valid number .. Does anyone have any suggestions for to solve this?
