Mixes multiple binary files in PHP

Is there a function in PHP to mix multiple files (specifically, audio files) into one? I do not want to concatenate the files, but add the same indexes to a destination file. For example: pick up an audio file with guitar and another one with drums and mix the two in one, then download.
