I have a website in Wordpress where it suffers constant updates, both layout and plugins / functionalities. So normal, but what I wanted to know is if there is an efficient way to update my site as if it were a parallel site as security, so that when updating the changes did not appear on the site.
I do not know if it's the matter of copying and pasting the site, into a subfolder or something.
I need to update the site (theme / code / plugins) and the changes are seen in a site to after they are finished and being OK, they are passed to the active / online site. I do not know if making a CTRL + C CTRL + V from the site would help, but so it would change the database as well.
Does anyone have an idea how best to do this?
