Joomla site error: 0 Invalid controller: name = '', format = '' joomla administrator

I'm trying to get into the administration of my Joomla 3.0 website, but I'm getting the following error:

  

0 Invalid controller: name = '', format = ''

@ user40862, according to the official Joomla forum link , it seems that it failed to include < in tag of the controller file in the component configuration xml: 

<filename>controller.php</filename>
