When I installed and tried to open it for the first time, it worked perfectly, however, when I tried to open it again later, when I click on "Start a new Android Studio project", the window opens but it stays transparent forever (as you can see in the image) . no error alert, missing files, nothing.
After I had this bug, I tended:
- update all tools and SDKs
- run as ADM
- run the program without any other open program to have more pc power
- add the "JAVA_HOME" system variable with the locations of JDKs and JREs
- install individual SDK tools (SDK tools)
- uninstall and reinstall all JREs, JDKs, and Android Studio
- change versions of JREs and JDKs to older ones
- I looked for the minimum requirements to run the program (which you can see here: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html)
and I think my pc runs (it has 4gb RAM, 150gb of free space on the HD where it installed the program, AMD Sempron 145 2.8ghz processor, win 7 32-bit, screen resolution of 1280x1024px, and all JREs, JDKs and SDKs required) - yesterday I tried to change the location of the installation to another HD, and in my last attempt, I returned the pc with a system restore, for 4 days before the first installation, none of this resolved
Does anyone know what I can do to solve this? if not, is there any other program you can use instead in Android Studio? I'm newbie in android development, I really need a lot of help.
Sorry for the giant post, I'm just trying to be as specific as possible.
Thank you in advance, have a nice day.
