How to publish an API written in Typescript in NPMjs?

I created an API in Typescript, soon.

And I would like to know how to publish it in NPMjs, I know it has how to publish because Angular 2 downloads libs in Typescript.

I do not know what steps to follow to publish. I did not find any examples ..
