I'm having this problem when I run my app on an android 4.4. I've been looking for solutions all day, but nothing works and I can not find any errors in my code. Thanks in advance for any help!

In the Place of:

        android:label="@string/app_name"
        android:launchMode="singleTask"
        android:theme="@style/AppTheme.NoActionBar"

You should put: 

<activity
        android:name=".controller.activitys.MainActivity"
        android:label="@string/app_name"
        android:launchMode="singleTask"
        android:theme="@style/Theme.AppCompat"

Then you take ActionBar via code if you prefer.
