No Terminal , what is the difference between the reset and clear ?

I'm using Terminal of Ubuntu , and apparently the two commands clear the screen.

clear

Deletes the contents of the visible area. What he actually does is roll the bar so you see only the clean area. But if you give a scroll up you will see all the previous content there.
