We are talking about an eleven year old processor. I think you could try to look for a second hand gpu but with very good performance like a gtx 980 Ti, probably in video games you will have bottlenecks due to processor saturation, but this gpu is relatively cheap in the second hand market and performs quite well even with the current Ryzen, which will be very useful in the eventual moment of an upgrade.
