What are the advantages and disadvantages of macOS compared to Linux?

The advantages are the convenience and that everything is delivered to you without the need for knowledge.

I'll be quick and to the point, but I'll also be subjective.
Advantages: greater accessibility, more proprietary software, more optimised with Apple PC hardware and aesthetically more appealing (try to get the average user to use it through simple interfaces).
Disadvantages: much less flexibility, less convenience for the expert user, less ability to configure via shell and manually...
So at the moment I can think of these, I look forward to input from more experts.

Many Linux distributions are FREE.
Neither Windows, nor Apple do this.
So you can contribute to affordable standards if you pay with MacOS and with Windows.
Or you can support communities of computer scientists who work for free, and stop charging to respect the law and give it to you for free, with many Linux that already exist, and so contribute to standards that are not paid for, but free and free.
The rest are minutiae for me. There are more things, but this is the bulk of my decision: to stop associating computing with private labels.
